Welcome to Lighten Lift! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our services, including the purchase, installation, maintenance, and repair of lifts or elevators ("Services"). By engaging with Lighten Lift, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.
- General Conditions
- These Terms apply to all contracts for the sale, installation, and maintenance of lifts provided by Lighten Lift.
- By engaging our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
- We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our Services after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Services Provided
- Lighten Lift provides a range of lift-related services, including but not limited to installation, maintenance, and repair.
- The scope of the services will be outlined in a contract signed by both parties prior to commencement.
- All Services are provided subject to availability and the company’s ability to fulfill your request within a reasonable timeframe.
- Pricing and Payment Terms
- All prices for Services are provided in a written quote, which is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
- A deposit of 10% of the total price is required upon acceptance of the quote, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the Services.
- Payments must be made in accordance with the terms set out in the invoice. Late payments may incur additional charges.
- Lighten Lift reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services if payments are not made in a timely manner.
- Installation and Maintenance
- Installation dates are estimates and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. Lighten Lift will endeavor to complete all installations within a reasonable period.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation site is prepared and accessible. Any delays caused by the customer’s failure to provide a suitable site may result in additional charges.
- Maintenance services will be carried out as per the maintenance agreement. Lighten Lift is not responsible for any damages or malfunctions resulting from improper use or unauthorized modifications to the lift.
- Warranty and Liability
- Lighten Lift provides a warranty on parts and labor for a period of 18 months from the date of installation. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and faulty workmanship.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidental damage, or unauthorized repairs.
- Lighten Lift’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts covered under the warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Cancellation and Refunds
- Orders for Services may be canceled by the customer within 14 days of signing the contract. After this period, cancellations will incur a fee of 10% of the total contract value.
- Refunds for any deposits or payments will be made in accordance with our refund policy, subject to any deductions as outlined in these Terms.
- Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, West Bengal.
- Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malda, West Bengal.
